Chapter 9: Fire, Grass, Darkness & Tech

I found myself in darkness of my mind. I was in my subconscious but there was no sign of my Dark side & my Light side. Where am I & where is Dark & Light? I asked. I suddenly began to hear a loud hissing noise. ?! I thought. I suddenly found myself  in a labyrinth of some sort but it was really familiar to me. Where am I now? I asked. Now I remembered this place. Is this place…Ouroboros?! I shouted. If this place is Ouroboros then that means! I shouted. I suddenly found me in a deeper part of the labyrinth. I was in the final room of the labyrinth. Lying there on the floor was a black gigantic shadow of what looked like a snake asleep but there was something next to it. It was the shadow of a small figure lying next to the snake. It was snake like but different. The child that possesses the power of the snake king is calling. His power shall bring clear another way to the dawn. Find the Son of the Snake Demon Orthoros! A voice echoed through the while labyrinth. I suddenly woke up finding myself back in the warehouse.

I turned to face everyone. They were still asleep but my eyes were drawn to Tatsushiro. Tatsushiro had shrunken in the middle of the night. He was now at least 12 ft tall, more skinny than when I saw him in the sewers(with bulk like Bowser that time) & his eyes were back to the usual red color. It was morning. (That was one heck of a crazy dream.) I thought. (You got that right.) Dark answered. (Where in the world were you two?!) I asked. (We were plunged into a different section of your mind but we saw your dream but couldn’t talk to you. Whatever it was to send us a message from Ouroboros must mean something big is going to go down. We better find this Son of Orthoros.) Light answered. Orthoros is the legendary snake demon of the Ouroboros.

It is a creature of fire & darkness but also leaving mass destruction in its wake but not an evil creature. It served one of the most powerful monsters of legend Leonyx however it was feared by the people it was sworn to protect. So it was banished into the most deadliest labyrinth Ouroboros. Legend says that Orthoros is still alive & will emerge from the labyrinth when need the most but also guard Ouroboros because it was rumored to wield an unbelievably power artifact within its ruins. A bright glow suddenly flashed from the hallway leading into the storage. Nobody else noticed is but me. (What is that bright light?) I thought. (Let’s check it out.) Light answered. I quietly went into the hallway without waking everyone up but something was following me. I went into the storage. The glow was coming from the wall to the left. There were glowing letters in the wall all in an ancient language from the Ouroboros. A message? I asked.

“When the darkness of destruction & corruption is approaching & the golden dragon has risen, only then the new snake king will rise from the abyss. Only the flames of the dragon king shall open the way. Once presented by his true heir.” I read. A golden flame aura enveloped my hand as I placed it on the text. The wall suddenly began to glow golden as a symbol of a snake emerged on the wall then a secret passage opened in the wall as it stopped glowing. (Now that is an entrance.) Dark answered. I walked into the passage but someone was following me. I found myself in a secret room. There were murals of Orthoros but also different giant monsters but the one that really caught my eye was the mural of Leonyx & what looked like a golden dragon & a beast of some sort. In the center of the room was a gold small sarcophagus with ancient writing decorated on it.

“In this ancient tomb lies the new snake king that leads the way to dawn. Storms of life will rage, infernos of volcanoes shall rise, & darkness of the abyss will shroud when summoned. The Golden Dragon is the one to awaken the king from his slumber, with the flames of its true heir to revive the king for battle.” I read. Golden flames enveloped my hand as I placed it on the sarcophagus. The room then suddenly began to shake as the sarcophagus letters began to glow brightly. The top began to open as a bright multicolored light filled the room blinding me. The light cleared as I regain my vision but the sarcophagus was fully opened. I looked at what was inside.

Inside the sarcophagus was a small 1 ft & a half cool & cute lizard & snake like creature with golden skin on the top of its head to its leaf like tail, a red stripe going down its head to its tail, silver skin on the bottom, white hair, a red leaf on each side of its neck bent, small leaf like arms, small legs & a strange black mark on its back in the form of wing symbol. Whoa. I said. The small creature opened its bright blue eyes. *yawn* My back is sore from sleeping for all that time. The small creature answered. He then noticed me. Who the heck are you? He asked. My name is Geri Draco Akamishi of the Draco & Akamishi Clan. I answered. He noticed the golden flames enveloping my hand. Your hand! It’s on fire with golden flames! You must be the heir of the Golden Dragon King! I am Snivy the Son of Orthoros, the Snake King of Ouroboros! Only my new master can wake me from my slumber! Snivy answered.

Snivy is what your species is called but what is your actually name? I asked. I don’t remember. All that time asleep must of erased my name. I can’t remember it. Snivy answered. How bout I call you Seigen? I answered. Seigen? Snivy asked. What do you think? I asked. Seigen. It suits me! Strong & powerful! Seigen answered. Here Seigen! I shouted as I tossed to Seigen a small black jacket & blue jacket with a red dragon symbol on it. That jacket will show that you are with me. I answered. Seigen put the jacket on. Man! This is one comfortable & cool jacket! I like it! Seigen shouted. It does suit you. Someone answered. We turned around to see Jak behind us. Jak! How did you get here?! I asked. I came to wake you up when I saw you going to a strange light in the storage. Then I followed you through the passage to see you & your new friend Seigen here. Jak answered.

This man has an aura of darkness. Who is he? Seigen asked. This is my friend Jak. He helps me out a lot & is a good fighter too. I answered. It’s nice to meet you Jak. Seigen answered. So how long were you sleeping in there? Jak asked. About 1,000 years give our take. Seigen answered. 0_0 We thought. Anyway I’m going to introduce you to more of my friends. I answered. Okay. Seigen answered as he hopped onto my shoulder. Jak & I both exit the passage(which closed up when we did like it was never there) & went up to the main warehouse where everyone was. We saw a pissed off SonicAsura & a flattened Daxter on the floor. My guess was the Daxter once again pissed off SonicAsura. Daxter was as flat as a pancake. If your little squirrelly rat self ever do that again there will be pain & chaos to pay! Got that! SonicAsura roared. Got it. Daxter answered in pain.

Daxter. What did you do now? I asked as Jak picked up the flatten Daxter that unflattened himself. That little furry idiot blew a freaking air horn in my ears while he was standing on my chest when I was asleep! SonicAsura roared. Daxter. Really? I asked. I had to wake her up…Daxter said as he noticed Seigen. Hey, whose that? Daxter asked as he pointed at Seigen. Seigen jumped off my shoulder. My name is Seigen Akamishi the Snivy! I’m Geri’s new Pokémon partner! Who are you guys? Seigen shouted. My name is SonicAsura, this is Lucian, Tatsushiro, SoulFlare, Velanova, Melody, Stormo & Daxter. SonicAsura explained. Where did you find him? Melody asked. In the basement. I answered. Hey Jak & Daxter, are you guys here because we have a mission today? I asked. You hit it right on the nail. Torn wants to see us. Like now. Jak answered.

Let’s go before he comes in here red in fury. Velanova explained. We quickly rushed over the Underground while Inferno Blade & Tatsushiro waited for us outside. We encountered Torn pacing back & forth. One of the Baron’s mining operations is under attack. Torn answered. What does it have to do with us?! Daxter yelled. It does matter when one of the workers is one of the Underground’s best informants! His name is Vin & he is valuable enough to save. I want you go to the Strip Mine & rescue him. Torn explained. Got it. I answered as we quickly left. We got back to the two waited for us as I hopped onto Inferno Blade with Melody, Velanova & Seigen hanging onto my back. I’ll follow you guys up on the roofs. Tatsushiro shouted as he jumped to the roof. Vin’s place is located to the north west of the city. Let’s hurry before he becomes Metal Meat. Jak answered as he got on his Zoomer. We quickly headed straight towards Vin’s place. Even though Tatsushiro was huge he was catching up to us really good. He would make things harder because the Krimzon Guards would shoot him on sight.

This place is amazing yet sad too. Look at all the people. They lost their will to live. Where are the children? Not a single kid in sight.  Seigen explained. Baron Praxis & his men are the reason for this sadness. That is why the Underground is fighting him but he is also the reason for my suffering. Jak explained. ? Seigen thought. When I was 15 I crash landed on Haven City. The Baron’s henchmen captured me & did experiments on me injecting Dark Eco into my body creating my dark alter ego in the process for 2 years. Things would have been worst if Daxter didn’t rescue me. Jak explained. That’s horrible. I answered. But I managed to listen on to their conversations during the experiment. Praxis mentioned something about a Dark Warrior Program. Jak answered. He mentioned that too when he was experimenting on me too but something worse. SoulFlare explained. What is it? I asked. Geri, the Baron is after you. SoulFlare answered. !!! We all thought.

He said he was going to experiment on you & make you his new Dark Warrior. When I heard that I flipped & went Dark Beast form. SoulFlare explained. Baron Praxis doesn’t who he’s missing with & what is inside of me. If I fall into the wrong hands then everything will be thrown into a path of endless destruction if I can’t be saved.  I explained. We need to find the others especially Asura & Yasha. Our demigod friends can help us out in the battle against Praxis but also keep you safe from his reach. SoulFlare answered. We arrived at Vin’s place. Tatsushiro jumped down & landed next to us. We entered Vin’s place. The room was high tech with a lot of computers, monitors, keyboards & more but there was also some sort of warp ring at the end & the place was bright it was blinding. Blue energy was enveloping within the center of the warp ring. That warp ring at the end will take us to the Strip Mine in a flash. You just need to jump through it. Jak explained. Okay. I answered.

We immediately jumped through the warp ring one after another. Seigen & I were the first ones to make it through the warp ring. The Strip Mines were a huge valley combined with mountains, conveyer belts, lifts, other machinery but the huge dark eco lakes grabbed my attention. I felt that some of my Dark Eco was drained & the Dark Eco lakes were pulling me in. I walked up to one of the lakes & attempted to put my hand into it until someone shouted my name. Geri! Don’t! Someone shouted. I put my hand back to turn & see Jak & the others. Geri! Do not touch those dark eco lakes! It can kill you with one touch because the Dark Eco is so concentrated it’s not even funny! Daxter yelled. Fine, I won’t. I was just going to recharge some of my Dark Eco but sense you’re acting so uptight like you’re my mother then I won’t do it. Daxter, you need to take a chill pill. I answered. Me, uptight? At least I don’t have a deranged psychopathic Dark Side who cares about ripping her foes to shreds & destruction like you! I rather be uptight then have a monster dark side in me! Daxter yelled.

Daxter really went there & everyone was shocked that actually did say that. Everyone else except for me & Daxter backed off in a flash & took cover but Jak had to be dragged by SonicAsura because he didn’t know what was going to happen. Why did you grab me?! Jak asked. Daxter, really doesn’t know what he just did. It’s best to get to safety because she is going to explode. SonicAsura explained. I stood there emotionless but my rage was burning within me. Apparently Metal Heads arrived & tried to come between me & Daxter. There Metal Heads Grunts, big dark brown wasp like Metal Heads wearing silver armor & dark yellow & brown Metal Head like scorpions surrounding us. Daxter. I managed to say calmly with all the rage burning within me. What…is it? Daxter asked scared. Run… I answered. Huh? Daxter asked. I said run…NOOOOW!!!!!! I roared as a huge pillar of bright red energy like chakra erupted from my body sending Daxter flying straight into the wall next to Jak. What’s going on?! Jak asked. She’s going Tailed Beast. Velanova answered.

The pillar of red energy changed its shape & enveloped me in the form of a fox as my eyes turned red & beast like, my nails became claws, 3 black whisker like marks appeared on each side of my cheek, my hair became a bit more frenzy like & my teeth became sharp fangs. ROAR!!!!! I roared in complete fury putting fear into the surrounding Metal Heads. I opened my eyes as all the Metal Heads flinched in fear. I ran straight towards the 100 Metal Heads on all 4s at unbelievable speed. Rage Claw!! I shouted as the red chakra enveloping my arms grew fierce & the form of huge claws. I slashed 15 of the Metal Heads to shreds & ashes in one slash.

The Metal Jackets(wasps) fired spheres of fierce dark eco at me. I jumped into the air spinning crazily. Revenge Bullets!! I roared as I fired a barrage of a huge red energy spheres from my hands with unbelievable speed. My attack took out 15 of the 35 Metal Heads that were airborne. All of them began firing at me in mid air. Mad Crushing Stomp!! I roared as I came down to the ground like a meteor creating a huge explosion taking out 20 Metals on the ground that were too afraid to move. However there were still too many until Seigen jumped into battle. Leaf Tornado!! Seigen shouted as his tail was enveloped in a giant leaf enveloped tornado. He slammed his tail down on the Metal Heads ripping them apart along with the ground that was hit on impact. Seigen? Why…are you helping me? It’s dangerous to be near me like this. I asked managing to grasp to what sanity I had left.

Just because your using the Tailed Beast’s Chakra doesn’t mean that I’m not your friend. Plus I’ve been in dangerous situations like this. Seigen explained. I smiled before my fury consumed me. Have a taste of this! Fire Pledge!! Seigen shouted as he slammed his fist into the ground creating multiple pillars of fire to erupt underneath the Metal Heads. Grass Pledge!! I shouted as I unleashed a barrage of huge leaf tornadoes from my claws. The 2 attacks merged creating a huge inferno that burned the remaining Metal Heads to ashes leaving only Dark Eco & Skull Gems left. My friends carefully approached me. Geri? Jak asked. I faced Jak eye to eye.

Jak stood there kind of paralyzed like when Metal Heads are facing his Dark side seeing his eyes filled with rage. He felt like pure rage was staring back at him like he was face to face with his darkness. Jak got closer to me. He attempted to touch me but he moved back his hand when it touched the chakra cloak. Ouch! That strange eco around her body burns but not that much. Jak answered. Be careful Jak! That chakra will burn you! Tatsushiro shouted. Jak attempted to get closer even the chakra around me was burning him. He literally hugged me even knowing that my chakra was harming him. JAK! I shouted. Just calm down. Don’t let your anger get the better of you just like it did to me. You are only harming yourself & us. Jak explained. Jak…I answered. The chakra cloak around me disappeared as I returned to normal. Melody & Velanova both whacked Daxter on the back of his head. What the heck was that for?! Daxter yelled.

For setting off Geri causing her to go Tailed Beast! Velanova shouted. Seigen, how did you use Fire Type Attacks? Grass types can’t do that. Melody asked. I’m very a special Snivy. I can also use Dark type attacks too. Seigen explained. That is amazing! Stormo shouted. Let’s go. Danger is closing on Vin. I answered. We all quickly headed off to Vin’s location after picking up the skull gems & Dark Eco. We were running through the Strip Mine when I noticed a huge Metal Head blockade up ahead. The blockade led to some huge mine carts filled with gravel being transported to the other side of the mine. Whatever is up ahead is what where we need to go! I shouted. But look at all of the Metal Heads blocking the way! How are we supposed to get through them all!? Daxter yelled. You can leave that to me! Seigen shouted. I’ll help too! Tatsushiro shouted. Go then! I shouted. Tatsushiro & Seigen ran in front of us.

Three Tailed Style: Hydro Jet!! Tatsushiro roared as a fierce rocket like pillar of water enveloped him as he flew straight towards the Metal Heads. Dark Rocket!! Seigen shouted as fierce dark energy enveloped his entire body as he soar straight towards the Metal Heads. Seigen began to spin around Tatsushiro creating a dark energy spin wave to surround Tatsushiro’s attack as it became faster & more powerful. Team Attack: Dark Hydro Jet! Tatsushiro & Seigen shouted as they collided with the Metal Head blockade destroying it & all the Metal Heads in its way. Tatsushiro & Seigen landed on the ground. Nice job. Daxter answered. I bet Vin is on the other side of that lift. I answered. Let’s go then. Jak answered. We immediately headed straight for the lifts. I was the first to arrive & jumped on one of the lifts. The others had to catch the third one that came. I was riding it when I noticed something glowing in it. Huh? I asked. I dug through the gravel & picked up a strange glowing object.

It was a glowing blue shard radiating with an unknown energy of some sort. What is this? I asked. It had a strange power within it but I couldn’t recognize it. I’ll hang on it for a while. I answered as I put it in my pocket. I arrived at the end & hopped off before the lift took me to a different facility. I waited for the others to come & hop off. I saw the door on the wall at the end with a warp gate next to it. Come on. I answered. We walked toward the door. Jak, Daxter & I were standing in front of it. Jak opened the door but we had a surprise. Someone was shooting at us from inside. The person shooting us was a skinny man with white hair & a light tan skin wearing brown goggles, a white shirt, brown pants & black shoes armed with a small gun. The 3 of us jumped to the side. Jak! Do something! This guy’s crazy! Daxter shouted. Are you Vin?! Torn sent us! We’re here to rescue you! Jak shouted. How do I know that you’re not the enemy?! Vin shouted. If we were here to kill you, you wouldn’t be talking! Jak shouted.

Vin stopped shooting. Friendies? Vin asked. I walked in front of the doorway. Vin’s jaw dropped when he noticed me. He closed his mouth. So uh where’s the army? Vin asked. We’re it. Daxter answered. Just you three? What do they think I’m worth? Vin asked. I was beginning to wonder that myself. Jak answered. Vin step outside. I answered. Vin stepped outside & noticed the rest of our current team. He saw Tatsushiro & screamed like a girl. AAH! Vin screamed as he pointed his gun at Tatsushiro. Whoa! Don’t shoot! He’s with us! I shouted. Really? Vin asked. He may look kind of scary but he’s sweet as a marshmallow. Melody answered. Let’s go before we become Metal Meat. Jak answered. All of us immediately jumped through the portal one after another & arrived back at Vin’s place. However we didn’t know we were going on another mission this time from Vin & the crystal I found was going to start a chain of unpredictable events as well. Things were going to go crazy & I mean it. Here comes some shooting action!
