Chapter 7: Dangerous Secrets
I woke up in the guest room with Najarin, Velanova, Tatsushiro & SoulFlare by my bed. Urgh… Where am I? I asked. Geri! You’re okay! We were so worried about you! Tatsushiro, Velanova, & SoulFlare shouted. What happened to me? I asked. We’ll explain later. I’m glad you have waken from your deep sleep. Najarin said. How long was I out? I asked. For an entire week you wouldn’t wake up. That incident must have taken a whole lot out of you. Najarin asked. What incident? I asked. We’ll tell you later but Maxxor wants to see you when you woke up. Velanova said. Take me to him. I said. We headed into Maxxor’s private studies & saw him with Tangeth & Intress. Maxxor didn’t look happy. Geri! You finally woke up! I was worried about you. Maxxor said. What happened to me during that mission? I remembered using Dark Emperor but that’s it. I said. We’ll show you what happened. Maxxor said as he took a strange crystal.

An image came out of the crystal showing the new dark form of mine & me going on a complete rampage. Is that me? I… did all those horrible things!!! I shouted as the image vanished from the crystal. When used that Dark Emperor Mugic you completely went out of control & went on a rampage until we snapped you out of it. Why didn’t you tell us about that Mugic?! How did you turn into your dark form!? Tell me what you have been hiding from us?! Maxxor roared. I made that Mugic & another the same time with the others. Something about those Mugics I couldn’t have it been discovered but I didn’t knew it’ll do this. That first dark form happened during a mission. A huge amount of a dangerous dark energy known as dark eco was injected into my body that created my first dark form. That Mugic I made was created with Dark Eco on accident. I made another Mugic with a very dangerous energy that was the reason why the villagers in my village hated me. In our world, there lived 9 creatures known for their limitless powers. They are giant beasts that had tails from 1 to 9. They were called Tailed Beasts. The Shinobi Nations wanted the Tailed Beast’s power but the Tailed Beasts didn’t agree with them. They went on a rampage & attacked villages until they were sealed away but not in a normal way. The Tailed Beasts were sealed inside of people to contain them but I was different. I was born with the Chakra of all 9 Tailed Beasts & there spirits within me. I explained.

!!!!!!! Maxxor, Intress, Tangeth & Najarin thought. The Akatsuki are after the Jinchurikis which are the people with Tailed Beasts within & take the Tailed Beasts from them with their ritual. When they do the Jinchurikis die from it. The Akatsuki don’t know about the Tailed Beasts within me but I’m always their target. I was afraid if I told you, you would be after the Tailed Beasts within me & try to destroy me. That is why I didn’t tell you. I explained. People treat you jinchurikis as monsters. Maxxor said. I bet you think of me as the biggest monster that ever existed. I said.

Wait! That’s not what I mean! Maxxor shouted. I know what you meant & I thought you were my friend. I guess I was wrong. I said as I ran out of the room & out of the castle. Geri wait! Maxxor shouted as he ran after me. Come on! We have to find Geri! SoulFlare shouted. Maxxor & the others began searching Kiru City for me. They asked everyone but no one knew where I was. Geri! Maxxor shouted. Geri! My friends shouted. Where have she gone? Maxxor thought. Then Maxxor figured it out. Wait a minute. I think I know where she went. Maxxor said. I was on top of the wall that surrounded Kiru City to protect it from intruders. I saw the sun beginning to set. I guess I can’t trust no one but myself. I said. Geri! Someone shouted.

I turned & saw Maxxor. Well, if it isn’t Maxxor. Are you here to take me away? I asked. No, I was worried about you. I was looking for you all over the city & couldn’t find you. Maxxor explained. Are you worried about me for the power within me? I asked. No, Geri. I would never betray. I promise with my life that I’ll never hurt you. You are my friend & I’ll never do anything like that to you. Maxxor explained. ! I thought. I don’t care if you’re a Jinchuriki or have a dark form. That doesn’t change that you are good person. You’re kind, beautiful & strong girl. We’ll never hurt you. I now understand your pain. All the suffering you’ve been through, the hatred that you’re villagers gave you, I understand it all now. You do what you can to protect your friends & family. I also know you kept it secret from us to protect us. Maxxor explained. Then show me that I can trust you. I said. This is my proof. Maxxor said as he got close to me.

What happened was something I wouldn’t dare talk about & it wasn’t the big “thing” either so don’t even think about it. After we did it, I was blushing like crazy so badly my face turned red & so did Maxxor. Let’s not tell anyone about what we just did but I trust you. I said. Same here. Maxxor said as we stopped blushing. Let’s get back to the castle. Everyone is waiting for us. Maxxor said. Maxxor & I went back to the castle. We arrived back at the castle & saw Tangeth, Intress, Najarin, Tatsushiro, Velanova & SoulFlare outside waiting for us. We’re back & look who I found. Maxxor said. Geri! You’re okay! SoulFlare shouted. I’m fine. I needed to cool off. Promise me you won’t tell anyone else about what is within or the incident. I said. We won’t. We promise. Najarin said. Thank you. I said.

Now that is over I’ll go finish cooking. SoulFlare said. I have to go now. I have something important to do. Najarin said as he left. Come on. I said. We went into the castle. I was in my room with Velanova & Tatsushiro. I was reading the Jelmagyara while Tatsushiro & Velanova were messing around with a rubber ball that was in my bag. The 2 were tossing the ball back & forth & was bugging me. Will you guys quit it? I’m trying to read here. I said. Come on. Don’t be a stick in the mud. Velanova said. I began reading again when the ball flew & knocked the book out of my hand. Hey! I told you guys to quit it! I shouted. Sorry about that. Tatsushiro said. When I was about to pick up the book I found it was on a page I never saw before. (What’s this? Is this some sort of hidden page?) I thought. I bend one of the side’s of the page & closed it.

We began smell SoulFlare’s cooking in the room. I knew he was making. SoulFlare was making ramen. A Japanese soup with long noodles, fish, vegetables like leek, miso, meat & a tasty broth. SoulFlare’s making Ramen. I said. Yay! I love SoulFlare’s ramen! Velanova shouted. Man, I hungry. Tatsushiro said. Tatasuhiro took out a metal plate from the closet. What are you going to do with that? I asked. This. Tatsushiro said as he took a huge bite of the metal plate. !! You’re eating the metal! Dude, that’s not good for your stomach! Velanova shouted. Are you sure about that? The 3 Tailed Beast is like an armor tank from outside & the inside with a huge appetite. I wouldn’t surprise if he took a bite out of the wall right now. I explained.

Tatsushiro ate the entire metal plate with 2 bites. Jeez. You have one heck of an appetite. Velanova said. Come on. Let’s go to the kitchen before Tatsushiro starts eating the beds. I said. We headed out of the guest chambers & to the kitchen. We arrived at the kitchen doors to see Maxxor was there. Ha. Again SoulFlare’s cooking attracts the king of the Overworlders. I said. Oh, hey you guys. Didn’t see you there. Maxxor said. We came because Tatsushiro’s strange appetite & Velanova with a rubber ball was driving me nuts. I said. I don’t want to know. Maxxor said.

Let’s just say reading in the same room with them is a bad idea. I said. Sorry. The 2 said. So what’s SoulFlare cooking now? Maxxor asked. Ramen, kind of a Japanese soup of long noodles, fish, & meat with some vegetables. One of Velanova’s favorites. I said. You got that right! Velanova shouted. Sounds really good. Maxxor said. SoulFlare opened the kitchen doors. It’s finished. SoulFlare said. Good because Tatsushiro’s strange appetite was driving me crazy. I said. What did he do? SoulFlare asked. The dude was eating a metal plate in our room. I swear he was going eat the beds if he didn’t get anything to eat. I said. No comment. SoulFlare said. Well sorry, it’s not my fault I have a huge appetite. Tatsushiro said. We sat at dining room table & SoulFlare placed the perfectly designed bowls of ramen & chopsticks in front of us. Again I was sitting next to SoulFlare & Maxxor while Velanova & Tatsuhiro sat across us.

Let’s dig in. Velanova said. Maxxor took a bite & the dude smiled. This is really good. Maxxor said. Haha. I knew you would like it & it’s healthy too. SoulFlare said. Man, this is good! I never tasted something delicious as this. Tatsushiro said. Thanks. I appreciate people who like my cooking. I have been going through a lot of cookbooks to learn a whole lot of different dishes & practicing how to make them too. SoulFlare explained. SoulFlare is a good fighter as he is a great cook. He reminds me of my human friend Sanji who was like that except he didn’t for a beautiful woman when he sees one. I said. Yeah. The dude always try to ask the woman on a date & she just either knocks him out or pepper spray him. It was funny. SoulFlare said. Hahaha. You guys sure have crazy friends. Maxxor said.

Our life is not normal but the 2 most wackiest person I know is my adoptive brothers Stormo & Leon. Leon just loves to pull pranks on people & Stormo loves acting like a goofball when he has the chance. I explained. It’s good to have a couple of oddballs in the family. Maxxor said. We began to laugh our heads off from Maxxor just said. We finished dinner & went to our rooms. Everyone was asleep except for me. I was looking out the window & gazing at the stars. I was worried about my missing teammates but mostly Asura. (Everyone, we’ll find you. Please be safe & okay. Asura, where are you?) I thought. I went to bed but was still thinking about Asura. Our battles have become more intense ever since we came here. Now I was going to fight someone I never wanted to go up against.
