Chapter 12: Xam’d
It has been 5 days since Stormo began living in our house. My attacks returned to normal after the battle with the ogre but mission created something inside of me. A dark rage somewhere in my soul that I can’t explain. I have been getting these strange dreams lately. I was asleep when I had that dream again. I was in darkness face to face with this girl who looked like me but she had gray skin, long silver hair, black horns, long pointy ears, long black claws, black dragon wings, a gray dragon tail with black blades on it, sharp fangs, red demon eyes, & gray & black demonic armor. I felt a surge of dark rage coming from her. Who are you? I asked. I am the shadow created by the darkness. The girl said. Shadow created by the darkness? I asked. I am created from dark energy that doesn’t belong in this world. The girl said. Why are you here? I asked. I don’t know why but I was created for a reason but to warn you. Be careful of those who worship the ones of lost memories. The girl said. I woke up immediately after that. Something about that warning was about to happen. I was puzzled though. What did she mean by “Be careful of those who worship the ones of lost memories.”? I was still thinking about it but didn’t let it get to me. I got myself prepared for today’s mission. After I finished getting ready I went downstairs. Lily decided to help SoulFlare out lately since there were more people living in the house so SoulFlare needed an extra hand in the kitchen. Yasha was also helping SoulFlare getting the plates ready while Lily & SoulFlare were cooking. I went downstairs & saw Velanova talking to Angel & Stormo. Good morning Angel, Velanova & Stormo, how are you doing? I asked. Good morning Geri, we’re doing fine. Stormo said. It looks like Leon is still sleeping. Angel said. Asura & Drake are already up & in the kitchen with SoulFlare, Lily & Yasha. Stormo said. We better wake Leon before he misses breakfast & trust me you don’t to see Leon when he didn’t have anything to eat. I said. You can leave that to me. Velanova said as she flew up & into Leon’s room. What is Velanova going to do? Stormo asked. Just listen. 3…2…1. Angel & I said. We heard a huge explosion coming from Leon’s room as Velanova flew out of there as fast as she could. AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Leon screamed. Holy crap! What did you do?! Stormo asked. I made a fireball that exploded in Leon’s ear. Velanova explained. Are you crazy?! Stormo shouted. Ahahahahahaha!!! I began to laugh. Leon came out of his room mad. Who set off a bomb in my room? Leon asked. We don’t know what you’re talking about. I said as we smiled. Not funny. Leon said. You shouldn’t sleep in then. Stormo said. Breakfast! SoulFlare shouted. Come on you guys. Let’s just eat. I said. We went into the kitchen & sat down at the table with Asura, Drake, SoulFlare, Yasha & Lily. What was that explosion we heard upstairs? SoulFlare asked. Leon overslept so Velanova set off a exploding fireball in his room. I explained. Oh brother. SoulFlare said as he rolled his eyes but smiled. Yeah, an exploding fireball. I can’t sleep peacefully without that happening? Leon asked. Then don’t overslept. I said. Oh yeah. Fujimoto already sent us a scroll on our mission for today. Yasha said as he took out a scroll. Then tell us already. Angel said. Alright. Yasha said as he opened the scroll. “Dear Akamishi Legends, there have been strange occurrences happening in Haven Jungle lately. Monsters have been sighted there but also a person in a black cloak has been appearing there recently. Each time this person is sighted a monster appears. I need you to put a stop to this before more people get hurt. Haven Jungle is located to the south west of the village but be careful. A mysterious group operates in Haven Jungle as well. From Fujimoto”. Yasha read. Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go then. I said. Lily stay & watch the house. SoulFlare said. Okay. Lily said. We quickly finished eating & headed out to Haven Jungle. We were running through the forest path to Haven Jungle. Hey Geri, do you got any info on Haven Jungle? Stormo asked. No, it’s a place I never went to before. I said. Are your attacks still becoming dark attributed? Yasha asked. No, my attacks returned to normal after the battle. I said. Good. We don’t anything bad to happen to you in battle. Leon said. Don’t worry. I’ll be okay. I said. We finally arrived at the cloudy sky but colorful & mystical Haven Forest. When we arrived I sensed a strange chakra signature by also ominous chakra as well. I sense someone’s in trouble! I shouted as I went east to where it was coming from. Wait Geri! Asura, Velanova & SoulFlare shouted as they went after me along with the others. However I left them in my dust. I arrived to a small clearing & saw trouble.I saw a white hair teenage girl with red eyes in a gray shirt, red skirt & black shoes being attacked by 4 of the shadow monsters we thought in Shozuno Forest. Leave her alone! I shouted as I jumped in front of her. The shadows leaped towards me. Let’s go! I shouted as I took out Dragon Fang. Pyros Dragon’s Force Slash!! I shouted as I fired a huge fire energy slash with a swipe of Dragon Fang. I destroyed 2 of the shadows with my attack. Ha!! I shouted as I sliced the remaining two in half. I put up Dragon Fang & faced the girl. Are you alright? I asked. I am fine. You are the one chosen to be granted our god’s power. The girl said. Huh? I asked. I wish for your forgiveness but I’ll bless you with this power & hiruko. The girl said as she took out a strange knife with a strange hilt that had 4 yellow circular gems around its hilt. What are you?! I shouted as I tried to stop her. It was too late she stabbed herself in the gut as a giant blue & light green explosion happened on impact. URGH!!!! I shouted in pain. I felt something from the explosion went & buried itself deep into my arm. I took serious damage from the explosion but the girl was gone. What was that?! Urgh! I shouted in pain as I looked at my left arm. There was blue gem in it & my arm felt like it was burning. What is thing?! I asked. That was when something began to happen. My arm began to change. My arm turned white & ten times it’s size as strange red marks covered it as the gem vanished as my nails became yellow claws. What the?! Before I could say anything a white mask covered my face. My team was following me when they heard a familiar loud blood curling scream. That sounds like Geri! She’s in trouble! Asura shouted as they quickly sped up. They arrived to the small clearing but they didn’t found me. They saw a big crater from the explosion & big 6 ft footprints leading from out of the crater & into the jungle. What happened here? It looks like a battle happened here. Whatever it was it’s gone & so is Geri. SoulFlare said. Hey! Look! Velanova shouted as she pointed at some of the huge footprints. It looked human but also an animal’s & it was leading deeper into the jungle. Look at the size of those! They’re huge!  Leon shouted. Let’s follow them. Maybe we’ll find our monster & Geri. Yasha said. Right. Asura said. My team quickly headed out & followed the footprints. They were running through the forest as fast as they could following the tracks of a mysterious creature. I hope Geri is okay. Stormo said. Don’t worry. Geri is strong, she won’t be taken out that easily. Angel said. Yeah, we must faith in her! Velanova shouted. You’re right. Stormo said. All of a sudden they heard a loud monster like roar coming further up ahead. What the?! Asura shouted. All of a sudden something came out from the trees & pounced into Asura as the two were knocked down a cliff behind some of the bushes. Asura! Yasha shouted as he went after Asura. You guys go on ahead! Stormo shouted as he flew down after Yasha. Asura & whatever grabbed landed on the ground & jumped back from each other. Asura faced the thing that attacked him. What in the world?! Asura shouted. The creature that attacked him was nothing he ever saw before.  It was a 30 ft white kinda skinny but muscular humanoid creature, with red eyes, red vein like runes on it’s body, top of it’s head was red with three red spikes like blades on the back following with 5 white blades with red runes on it, with huge hands, blue marks on it’s & knees, a blade coming out of it’s arms & legs, sharp yellow claws & talons, red & yellow dragons wings & white & yellow dragon tail with red spike like blades going down. It was standing 10 ft in front of Asura. It had no mouth though. The creature had my bag. You’re the one who took Geri! Where is she?! Asura roared. It didn’t reply. If you won’t tell me then I’ll make you!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Asura roared as he grew 4 extra arms on his back as he became 6 Armed Vajra Asura. Asura charged toward the creature with fury. Fists of Rage!!! Asura roared as his fists were enveloped in red fire like energy. Asura began to unleash a barrage of attacks but the creature didn’t fight back. It dodge all the attacks but didn’t strike back. Asura jumped back as the energy vanished. (Why is it not attacking? It dodges like Geri. Something about this thing screams to me!) Asura thought. The creature began to walk closer to Asura. Tenken’s Fury! Asura shouted as he unleashed a barrage of energy fists at the creature. That was when it did something unbelievable. It took out Zanrakudrazulmaru & sliced every one of the energy fists in half. No way! It… used Zanrakudrazulmaru!But the only who can use that blade is… Asura said as he returned to normal. The creature put away Zanrakudrazulmaru. It began to speak. I… I’m not yo…ur enemy… It said. That was when Asura discovered what it was. The voice was mine but slightly deeper. It was me. Geri… Is that you? Asura asked. Yes… I said. Geri! What happened to you? Asura asked. Before I could answer a tornado enveloped fist & an a blue energy slash was flying towards me. I quickly dodged the attack. Yasha & Stormo arrived to the scene. Yasha! Stormo! What’s wrong with you?! Asura shouted. We here to take down this monster! Stormo shouted as he took out his Shurikens of Storm. Don’t! It’s Geri! Asura shouted. What?! That’s impossible! Stormo shouted. Then why did it used Zanrakudrazulmaru like Geri did? Asura asked. What? It used Zanrakudrazulmaru? Yasha asked. Yeah when I attacked it took out Zanrakudrazulmaru & took out all of the energy fists from my Tenken’s Fury. It also talked & it’s voice belong to Geri. Asura said. He’s telling the truth… It is me! I roared. Holy crap! What happened to you?! Stormo shouted. I don’t know. I saved this girl with white hair then she began talking about giving me the power of their god. All of a sudden she took this weird knife & stabbed herself causing a huge explosion that stuck this weird gem in my arm. Then my arm transformed & I began to transform into this. I explained. Geri, why did you attack me? Asura asked. I was saving you. I found the monster. It’s a summoning beast of one of the Dark Tribe members. We have to get back to others! They’re in danger! I roared. Let’s go then! Asura shouted. I picked up Asura in my huge hand & took flight. Stormo got on Yasha’s back as he lifted him in the air. We quickly flew toward the center of the forest. We arrived to see the rest of our team in battle with a 100 ft giant darkness bear with a row of bones like blades on it’s back, razor sharp claws, white horns, red eyes & razor sharp fangs. Leave them alone!!!! I roared as I dropped Asura & we dive bombed towards the monster. Golden Fire Dragon’s Iron Punch!!! I roared as golden flames enveloped my right arm. Ha!! Asura shouted as his arms grew 10 times its size as he became Mantra Asura. Fist of Rage!! Asura roared as his left arm was enveloped in red fiery energy. We hit the monster’s head sending it into the ground before the flames & energy vanished. We jumped back & landed in front of SoulFlare. Yasha & Stormo landed on the ground next to Angel. What is that thing? Angel asked. It’s me! Geri! I shouted. Geri! What happened to you?! SoulFlare asked. I’ll explain later! I roared. The monster got its head out of the ground & faced us with fury. It let a huge dark energy roar from its mouth. Dark Shockwave!!! I roared as I unleashed a black huge shockwave by slamming the ground with my fists. The shockwave knocked the monster off balance & throw off it’s attack at the trees. The monster got up & began to fire dark energy spears from the skeleton spikes on its back. Sonic Storm!! Yasha shouted as he unleashed a barrage of big light blue energy slashes from his hands. Tenken’s Fury!!! Asura shouted as he unleashed a barrage of giant red energy fists from his punches. Chaos Spear! SoulFlare shouted as he unleashed a storm of chaos energy spears from his hands. The 4 attacks canceled each other out leaving an opening to attack. Golden Fire Dragon’s Barrage!! I roared as both my arms were enveloped in flames as I flew towards the monster at incredible speed. Inferno Barrage!!  Velanova shouted as she was enveloped in fierce flames as she flew towards the monster at incredible speed. Velanova & I began to unleash a barrage of attacks on the monsters face doing an extreme amount of damage. We quickly flew back before the monster tried to send us flying with its paw & before the flames vanished. The beast began to charge at us with fury. Asura took flight & flew next to me. Asura & I grabbed the monster’s head & stopped its charge. HAAAAAAA!!!!!  We roared as we sent the creature flying into air with a mighty toss. Now! I shouted as golden flames enveloped my whole body in the form of a dragon. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Asura roared as his body was enveloped in fierce red energy. Let’s end this!! Inferno Blast!!! Velanova shouted as she fired a huge fiery energy beam from her hands. Chaos Blast!! SoulFlare shouted as he fired a gigantic chaos energy beam from his hands. Golden Fire Dragon’s Golden Blazer!!! I roared as I rocketed towards the monster at incredible speed. Rage Blast!!!! Asura roared as he fired a gigantic red energy beam from his hands. Velanova, Asura & SoulFlare’s attack blasted the monster dazing while I slammed into it causing a giant explosion. I flew out of the explosion & landed on the ground as the flames & energy vanished. Asura returned to normal & landed next to me. My body began to glow white as I returned to my normal self. Whoa. I’m back to normal! I shouted but I looked at my arm. The hiruko was still in my arm like merged with my skin after burning a hole in my armor. Our mission is done here. Let’s go home. I said. Tell us what in the world happened to you. Leon said. I will on our way back. I said. We headed home but I was about to find out what was the dark rage within me & the gem in my arm.
