Chapter 6: Figure of the past & the symbol of victory
We were running through the Shozuno Forest on our way to Mount Oni to fight the monster that was wreaking havoc but we didn’t know we’ll uncover a secret in our family. Hey Geri! Do you got any info about Mount Oni? SoulFlare asked. Mount Oni is a sacred mountain where at the top lies Galaxy Tower. A tower that reaches all the way to the heavens & was created to honor the Guardian of the Galaxy. I explained. Guardian of the Galaxy? Leon asked. No one has ever seen the guardian it is said you can see the stars through its eyes. It is a divine creature that watches over the stars. It is worshipped by the Knight Clan. Now something has been attacking Mount Oni. If the tower falls, a great disaster will fall upon us. I explained. We better hurry then. Angel said. We can get to Mount Oni by going through the Shozuno Forest. I said. (Help me…) A strange voice said in my head. Huh? I said. Then something weird happened. The ground underneath the trees exploded. What in the world?! We shouted. The explosion was big & blasted the 4 of us in different areas in the forest. I was knocked out from the explosion. I regained consciousness in front of tree. Ugh… What happened? I asked. I noticed I was along. SoulFlare! Angel! Leon! I shouted but no respond. It was a trap, now I got separated from my team. Who was calling for help anyway? I asked myself. Help… Someone said. ! Someone is in trouble! I shouted. It was coming up ahead. It might be one of my teammates! I better hurry! I shouted as I headed toward the call of help. I arrived at a rock wall & saw a big pile of rocks in front of it. Help… Someone said. It was coming from the rubble. Don’t worry! I’ll save you! I shouted as I ran toward the rubble. I began to pull & throw off rocks trying to free what ever was buried. After 3 rocks I saw a hand. It was small. I’m almost there! I shouted as I throw off the remaining rocks & revealed the buried figure. It was a small about 1 ft tall cute fox person like creature that had pink fur, blue V like long ears, green eyes, small hands & feet, short fangs & two small angel wings on it’s back. It was unconscious. Wake up. I said as I began to nudged the little creature. It was hurt. Maybe this will help. Fire Style: Healing Flame Jutsu. I said as flames enveloped my hands as I placed them on the creature. Its wounds were fully healed before the flames vanished. Ugh… It said as it gained consciousness. Good thing you are okay. I was worried there for a minute. I said. It noticed me. You saved me. Thank you very much. I thought I was never going to get out of there. Who are you? The creature asked. My name is Geri Draco Akamishi. What is your name? I asked. I… I don’t have one. It said. You never had a name? I asked. No. I was never named. It said. Then I could give you a name. I said. Really? It asked. Yeah. I’ll call you Velanova. How does that sound? I asked. I like Velanova! My kind is called Victini. I’m a creature called a pokemon. Velanova said. Pokemon? I asked. Pokemon are creatures of incredible powers. There different kinds of us. I’m a Fire & Psychic Type pokemon. I don’t know much about my kind then that. Velanova said. Interesting. I said. ! I forget! I’m supposed to get to my friend! Velanova shouted. Hey. I can escort you to your friend. I said. Really?! Thanks. My friend is near the road that leads to Mount Oni from here. Velanova said. Hey, that is where I have to go. I said. I’ll lead you there. Ugh… Velanova said as she bend down in pain. You still haven’t fully recovered yet. I’ll carry you & you can lead the way. I said as I picked up Velanova & put her on my shoulder. Thanks. Velanova said. Hold on tight. I said. I ran towards the road that leads to Mount Oni. I was running at incredible speed as Velanova pointed the way. You are very fast. Velanova said. I’m like one of the fastest in my village. How did you get caught in the rockslide? I asked. I was on my way to my friend when someone on the mountain triggered a rockslide burying me there. I don’t know & why but I got a bad feeling about it. Velanova said. It became night when we arrived to the road. We’re here but where is your friend? I asked. I don’t know but I have a bad feeling about this for some reason. I saw glowing red eyes coming from the bushes. We got company. I said. I don’t think I can fight in my condition. I still feel sore from that rockslide. Velanova said. Hold on because things are going to get crazy. I said as my eyes glowed golden & turned like a dragon’s. 4 giant black & red turtles that were 30 ft with sharp fangs, red runes on their bodies, red eyes, red spiked shells & red spiked tails emerged from the bushes. Here they come! I shouted. 1 of the turtles charged toward me & Velanova with fury. Golden Fire Dragon’s Iron Punch!! I shouted as golden flames enveloped my right fist. I punched the turtle in the face sending it into the air. I jumped into the air & grabbed it’s tail. I spinned the turtle then punched it’s back sending it flying into another. I landed as the flames vanished. 2 of the turtles fired red energy fire balls from their shells at us. Golden Fire Dragon’s Roar!! I roared firing a huge golden fiery breath from my mouth. My attack burned through the fire balls & hit the two turtles in the face doing major damage. The 4 recovered & began to shoot big fireballs from their mouths at me. These are flames so I can do this! I shouted as I began to inhale all the fireballs as they turned into energy powering me up. (She devoured the flames!) Velanova thought. Thanks for the power up. Now I can do this!!! Golden Fire Dragon’s Rage!!! I roared as I fired a gigantic golden fiery breath bigger than my Fire Dragon’s Roar. My attack burned the monsters into ashes but 30 more came in their places. They surrounded us. There are too many of them. At this least rate I’ll end up using that form! I shouted. That is when we heard something. ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!! Something roared. My friend! He is here! Velanova shouted. Something big flew over us. It was about ¾ tall as Oars but 10 ft smaller & big but it looked like a gigantic blue dragon with 6 light blue, dark blue & white wave pattern blade wings, yellow eyes, razor sharp claws & fangs, white horns on its head, a long neck, gray blades on its chest almost like a weird emblem, white & gray scales on the top of its head like a mask, an axe blade on the end of its tail, slightly light blue neck with light blue spots & streaks on its legs, chest, tail & arms. That is your friend?! I shouted. The creature fired a huge fiery breath straight down towards the turtles but it was big that end up hitting us. Look out! I shouted as I put Velanova down & shield her with my body. Everything faded to white. I regained consciousness in a huge cave with Velanova in front of me. Geri?! Are you okay?! Velanova shouted. Velanova, what happened? Where are we? I asked. I felt someone breathing down my back. I turned around & saw the dragon was behind me. You! You are the one who attacked us! I shouted. No! He didn’t mean it! He is my friend! Velanova shouted. Huh?! This is your friend you been talking about!? I shouted. Velanova was about to reveal something unbelievable. This is Drake Akamishi. Velanova said. Akamishi?! Did you just say Akamishi?! I shouted. Yeah. Drake this is Geri Draco Akamishi. Velanova said. Roar? (Geri! Did you just say Geri?!) Drake roared. Why? Is there something wrong? Velanova asked. Drake picked me up & hugged me. ? I thought. Gr! (I found you! My long lost sister! I finally found you!) Drake roared. What?! Sister?! You… you are my brother?! I shouted. Whoa! I didn’t know you were brother & sister?! Velanova shouted. How can this be? I asked. Gr. (You see, our mother had three kids. 2 girls & one boy. When we were little I was kidnapped & taken away from you. My kidnappers put a curse on me turning me half dragon half human. Every night I transformed into this form but then I couldn’t control myself. Then I met Velanova. I was searching for you for so long. Now we finally are reunited!) Drake explained as he put me down. I can’t believe it but you are telling the truth but now I have to find my sister Angel & my two brothers SoulFlare & Leon. We were on a mission to stop a monster from destroying Mount Oni. I explained. Gr? (I have two more brothers?! However I’m not the one destroying Mount Oni but we can’t head out now.) Drake said. Yeah, we have to search at daytime so no one decides to attack Drake. Velanova explained. I guess we’ll stay here for the night. At day we’ll be heading out. Is that okay? I asked. Yeah. Velanova said. I laid down on the ground as Velanova laid down next to me. Drake covered us with his left wing. Until tomorrow. Good night. I said as I fell asleep. The thought of SoulFlare, Angel & Leon couldn’t leave my head but what lies within me was looking out for me so I won’t forget they are still alive but I was worried about the form within me will end up being awakened. Morning came as I woke up along with Velanova. *yawn* Both of us yawned. It’s morning we need to head out. I said. I see you are awake finally. Someone said. We turned around to see the dragon gone but in its place was a silver hair pale teenage boy with yellow & black demon eyes, small blue dragon wings, 2 big yellow horns on his head, a blue dragon tail with light blue short blades going down, pointy ears, short fangs, claws & animal like feet wearing a very short black vest covering his chest with a red symbol on it, a red leather gauntlet on his right arm, slightly torn black pants & some bandages on his legs & feet. Drake? I asked. Yeah it’s me. I return to this form during the day but I can change back to my dragon form anytime. Shall we go to Mount Oni? Drake asked. I’ll send a telepathic message to my team so they know where to go. I said. (SoulFlare, Angel, & Leon, I’ll meet you at Mount Oni with 2 allies. Come as fast as you can.) I told them with telepathy. Let’s go. I said. I back at full strength so I can help you get to Mount Oni faster. Velanova said as eyes began to glow. My body began to glow light green as I floated in the air. Drake began to take flight with his wings. My psychic powers will give you the ability to fly. Velanova said. Then let’s go! I shouted as we flew out of the cave & towards Mount Oni. The monster has been spotted at the top of Mount Oni where Galaxy Tower is located. We need to hurry before it destroys the tower. I said. Got it! Velanova shouted as we picked up speed & air. We were fly enough above the mountain to see a gray tower & a huge wide opening at the top in front of the tower itself. That is where we need to go. Let’s go down. I said. We decided to land in the wide opening of Mount Oni itself. My body & Velanova’s eyes stopped glowing as we landed on the ground. Do you see the monster? Velanova asked. No but we shouldn’t let our guard down. Drake said. I began to sense a huge amount of chakra moving towards us. Prepare for battle! I shouted. We heard a huge roar coming from above. A giant 60 ft green crystal bird with emerald wings, diamond beak, red eyes & sharp crystal talons flew down in front of the tower. There is the monster that has been attacking the mountain! It’s a Crystal Falcon! I shouted. A Crystal Falcon? Velanova asked. It’s a mysterious golem like bird that is known for it’s power. It’s made out of powerful chakra filled crystals with a mind of its own. Crystal Falcon are aggressive unless someone destroys it’s home. I think something like that happen between it & the Knight Clan it decided to destroy the Mount Oni along with the Galaxy Tower. I explained. ROAR!! The Crystal Falcon roared. I can’t let you destroy this place. So I have no choice but to take you down! I shouted. The monster began to fire huge crystal feathers from its wings at us. Golden Fire Dragon’s Roar!! I shouted firing a huge golden fiery breath from my mouth. Both attacks canceled each other out with fierce power. Inferno Shot! Velanova shouted as she created a huge fireball & threw it at the crystal falcon. Fire Dragon’s Roar! Drake shouted as he let out a huge fiery breath from his mouth. Both of their attacks blasted the falcon’s body doing serious damage to it. The falcon flew straight towards us. Golden Fire Dragon’s Iron Punch! I shouted as golden flames enveloped my right arm. I punched the crystal falcon in the face & send it high into the air. I jumped high into the air above the falcon as the flames disappeared. Golden Fire Dragon’s Talon! I shouted as my left leg was enveloped in golden flames. I dive kicked the falcon’s back hard doing serious damage & sending it into the ground hard. I landed 2 ft in front of Drake as the flames vanished. The falcon flew up into the air. The monster created a huge tornado with a flap of its wings. Golden Fire Dragon’s Inferno Tornado!! I shouted as I began to spin at incredible speed as a huge golden fire tornado enveloped me. Inferno Striker!! Velanova shouted as fierce flames enveloped her as she flew toward the tornado. Velanova busted through the falcon’s tornado with fierce power allowing me to bring the falcon into my fire tornado doing major damage to it. The falcon was sent flying into the air before I stopped spinning & the fire tornado vanished. The crystal falcon began to grew furious. The falcon began to glow brightly as its wings began to glow red. We got to end this before it destroys the whole mountain! I shouted as I began to focus my power with golden flames enveloping my body. I flew towards the falcon at incredible speed. Inferno Blast!! Velanova shouted as she fired a gigantic fire energy beam from her hands. Fire Dragon’s Inferno Cannon!! Drake shouted as he fired a gigantic fire energy beam from his hands. Golden Fire Dragon’s Golden Blazer!! I shouted.The crystal falcon fired two giant light green energy beams from it’s wings. Drake & Velanova’s attack canceled out the falocn’s attack giving me a chance to strike. I made contact with the falcon with my attack. Take this!! I shouted as the both of us were enveloped in a golden explosion. Geri! Drake & Velanova shouted. I found myself in space with a multicolor light in front of me. “You have a grand destiny awaiting you. The legends shall lead the way.” The light said. I woke up on the mountain with Drake, Velanova, Angel, Leon & SoulFlare staring at me. What happened? I asked. You haven’t fully recovered from the blast from last night & you end up losing consciousness after the second explosion. Leon explained. I guess I did. I said as I got up. Hey Geri, can I become your pokemon partner? Velanova asked. Huh? I asked. You saved me & helped us defeat that monster. I want to repay my debt so can I become your partner? Velanova asked. Sure you can. You guys helped me out as well & saved innocent lives from destruction. I explained. Thank you so much! I won’t let you down! Velanova shouted. I still can’t believe that we got another brother. Angel said. I know. I was surprised too. We better head home. We got a report to make & some new family members to show around the village. I said. We headed home. I finally revealed the identity of a lost figure but I was going to receive a dangerous power.
