Chapter 4: Asura & Geri
It has been 2 weeks since the battle with Fujimoto. I learned to master my Bankai with the help of Fujimoto & SoulFlare. Fujimoto gave me a very powerful magic sword known as Dragon Fang. It has been peaceful at the village but things were about to change today & I find out there is more to this world & the universe than I ever knew. I woke up this morning feeling a strange chakra signature but I couldn’t tell where it was coming from. (What is this strange chakra I’m sensing?) I thought. I got out of bed, took a shower & got dressed quickly. I went downstairs & smelled SoulFlare’s wonderful cooking again. I swear no one can beat SoulFlare in a cook-off. For his age he was a pro that seemed to been doing this for centuries. I saw Angel talking to Leon again in the front room. I also saw Leon holding something in his hand. It was a small brown mouse. Good morning guys. What’s with the mouse Leon? I asked. Good morning Geri. I found this mouse in my bed this morning. It decided to bite my tail when I was sleeping. I jumped out of my bed in pain & landed on my head because of that devil little creature. Leon explained. Leon wants to eat the mouse & I keep telling him no. Angel said. This mouse is about to see the inside of a cat boy in 5 seconds. Leon said. Let me see the mouse. I said. Leon handed me the mouse. Why did you bite my brother’s tail? I asked the mouse. *squeak* The mouse said. It said it was hungry & it thought your tail was piece of cheese. I said. Do I look like a piece of cheese?! Leon shouted in fury. *squeak* The mouse said. He said: Yes, you cheddar headed orange furball. I said. What did you just say?!!! Come here!!! You little rat! Leon shouted. Here. I said as I gave the mouse a piece of cheese. The mouse grabbed the cheese. I opened the door & put the mouse outside on the porch then closed the door. There. Are you happy now? I asked. You should of just let me eat it. Leon said. Leon, you are not a wild cat & no eating mice. Even if they called you a cheddar headed orange furball. Angel said. We laughed for a minute. Breakfast! SoulFlare shouted. We’re coming! I shouted. The 3 of us went into the kitchen & sat down. SoulFlare put our plates of food on the table then he sat down next to me. What was the commotion in the front room? SoulFlare asked. Leon’s tail got bitten by a mouse this morning when he was sleeping. The mouse called him a cheddar headed orange furball & he got pissed about it that he tried to eat the mouse. I gave the mouse a piece of cheese then put it outside. I explained. SoulFlare began to laugh a little. I was still feeling the strange chakra coming closer. (What is with this strange chakra? Did the others feel it already?) I thought. We finished breakfast, got ready & headed toward Beast Tower for our mission today. Fujimoto was standing outside of the tower waiting for us. Good morning Fujimoto. I said. Good morning Akamishi sisters & brothers. Fujimoto said. So what’s our mission today? I asked. There have been strange sightings in Kanazuki Forest that is located east of the Darkwood forest. I want you to go check it out. Fujimoto explained. What kind of strange sightings? SoulFlare asked. There have been reports of strange creatures lurking in the forest. It was hard to identify but it looked like an animal of some sort then flames began to suddenly erupt near the Kanazuki Waterfall at the edge of the forest. Fujimoto explained. We’ll go ahead & check it out. I said. We quickly headed out toward Kanazuki Waterfall. We were running through the forest at incredible speed when we spotted the mountains that cuts the road leading to Kanazuki Forest & the Oni Lake. We just have to pass through the mountain path to get to Kanazuki Forest! I shouted. We entered the mountain path which was short we were closing in on the exit that was when I began to feel the strange chakra but it was much more stronger like it was coming towards me. I was the first off the mountain path into the forest but something didn’t want the rest of my team to pass. The moment I entered the forest, a huge rockslide happened that blocked the way off the mountain to Kanazuki Forest. What in the?! Angel shouted as the 3 immediately stopped. We are cut off from Geri! Leon shouted. It feels like someone didn’t want us to enter the forest but only allowing Geri to. SoulFlare said. Are you saying Geri is running into a trap?! Angel shouted. I’m afraid so. SoulFlare said. I stopped & noticed that my teammates weren’t with me. ? Where did everybody go? Did I leave them behind? I asked myself. I began to feel the chakra signature getting stronger & closer. What is with this strange chakra?! I can’t seen to pin point where it’s coming from?! I shouted. I began to sense another presence. An ominous & dangerous one. I looked around & saw glowing red eyes from the bushes. I was about to draw my sword. I was about to strike when I found where the chakra was coming from & I felt it heading straight toward me. I looked up & saw a person sized red meteor heading straight toward me. Whoa!! I shouted as I immediately jumped back 3 feet before it crushed me. A huge smoke cloud erupted from where it hit. I couldn’t see but I saw a figure emerging from the crater. When the smoke cleared I didn’t believe what I saw. It was a handsome buff & tall tan man with strange dark machine like runes on his body, white glowing eyes & white hair sticking straight up but also wavy wearing golden armor on his hands & arms, black pants decorated with red clouds, a white cape like tunic on his waist, & black armor on his legs but not covering his feet. The man was 1 ft taller than Fujimoto. Whoa. I said. The man turned around & faced me. I noticed whatever was in the bushes were coming toward us. Stay behind me if you want to live. The man said. All of a sudden these human sized giant black monkeys with red runes on their bodies & red eyes jumped out of the bushes & were heading straight toward us. Fist of Rage!! The man shouted as his left fist was enveloped in fierce red energy. The man punched half of the attacking monkey’s destroying them as they vanished in darkness. The monkeys piled up on me. ! The man thought. Then something happened. Golden Fire Dragon’s Radiance!!! I roared as golden flames erupted from my body as it burned the monkeys to ash. !!! The man thought. More of them ran towards me. Golden Fire Dragon’s Roar!!! I roared firing a huge golden fiery breath like blast from my mouth. The monkey’s were burned to a crisp from my attack. 10 more monkeys were about to attack me from behind. Tenken’s Fury!! The man shouted as he fired giant red energy fists from his punches. His attack destroyed all the remaining monkeys as they vanished in smoke. We looked at each other. You have an unbelievable power. You look human but no human can do the things that you did. The man said. I was about to say the same thing to you as well. I said. Where am I? The man asked. You are in Kanazuki Forest. Who are you? I asked. I am someone that you don’t want to know. I have to go. I have to get to Kanazuki Waterfall. The man said as it walked towards Kanazuki Waterfall. I ran & grabbed the man’s arm. You aren’t getting away that easily. I’m coming with you. I do know where Kanazuki Waterfall is & you are going to tell me who you are! I shouted. If you come with me, you’ll just end up dying. The man said. Don’t underestimate me that easily. I won’t die so easily. I said. The man looked at me then something clicked in his head. Fine but stay with me at all times! The man shouted. Got it! I shouted. The two of us were walking through the forest on our path to Kanazuki Waterfall. (SoulFlare, Angel & Leon, I’ll be at Kanazuki Waterfall. Come as fast as you could.) I told them with telepathy. We arrived at a river & noticed it was getting dark. It’s about to be night. We’ll camp out here for the night. The man said. I got some firewood & started the campfire. The man & I set up camp. I quickly caught some fish & decide to roast them over the warm fire. It was night & we were sitting near the campfire with a stick that had cooked fish that was impaled with it. Who are you? I asked the man. My name is Asura. Whose asking? Asura asked. My name is Geri Draco Akamishi of the Akamishi Clan. I answered as I took a bite out of the fish. What are you? A normal human doesn’t have the kind of power you have. You have a very strong & powerful mantra signature that equals a demigod. Asura said. I’m a ninja but the reincarnation of a legendary hero from long ago. Is that what you call chakra?  Mantra. For a man like you have an unbelievable chakra & your attacks aren’t anything I ever seen before & those marks. They belong to a demigod. I said. ! You knew. You are right. I am a demigod. I’m the demigod of wrath. In this world you call Mantra chakra. Interesting. What are you doing out here? Asura said as he took a bite of half his fish. I was on a mission with my brothers & my sister when we got separated. You are the owner of that chakra I was sensing this morning. What do you want at Kanazuki Waterfall? I asked. I’m looking for someone that was spotted there. Asura said. Who is this person? I asked. That person is my human daughter Mithra. Asura said. You have a daughter but do you have a wife? I asked. My wife was murdered long ago & my daughter vanished on that same day. You act & remind me of Mithra. Asura explained. My sister & I lost our parents when we were very young. I never knew them or saw their faces. My sister & I lived alone until we met our adoptive brothers SoulFlare & Leon. Our brothers aren’t human. SoulFlare is a talking hedgehog & Leon is a cat boy. I have the power over flames & other elements. I can even talk to animals. I explained. Whoa. Asura said. Yeah. Leon & my sister Angel are kinda of hot-headed & SoulFlare is kind, a great cook & great ninja. My sister & I have an alias in our village. I’m known as the Mystical Elemental Sorceress while my sister is known as the Elemental Demon Warrior. I explained. Asura noticed my sword. What is with that blade? It holds a lot of mantra in it but also it looks like nothing I ever saw before. Asura said as he pointed at my sword. This is my Zanpakuto, Zanrakudrazulmaru. It’s a powerful magical sword that only allows me to use it. I had this sword since I was 6 years old. It’s very important to me. I explained. I see. Asura said. We better get our rest. We have a long day tomorrow. Asura explained. Alright. I said. The two of us went to sleep but the thoughts of my family drifted in my head. Morning came & we packed up. Asura & I were continuing our way to Kanazuki Waterfall. How old are you Geri? Asura asked. I’m 13 & about to be fourteen soon. How old are you Asura? I asked him back. I’m over thousands of years old but I don’t know the exact number. Asura explained. I guess that is nothing for a demigod like yourself after all. I said. I heard that flames began to erupt near Kanazuki Waterfall & a monster is said to lurk there. I said. Interesting. Asura said. I stopped & fall to my knees as I began to feel a strange power up ahead. The power was so familiar that my head was going crazy trying to find a hidden memory. Geri?! Asura shouted. I’m fine but I sense something up ahead that it’s driving me crazy but I can track it by sensing it. I explained. That means we don’t know where it’s coming from. Asura said. Not exactly. You see I was born with special eyes that came with a unique power. I’ll show you. I said as I stood up & closed my eyes. “Dragon King, give me the sight to see what can not be seen.” I chanted. I opened my eyes as they turned golden completely & like a dragon’s. Your eyes… They changed? Asura asked. I was gifted with the “Eyes of the Golden Dragon King”. With this I can see what others can’t see. I said. I looked down & saw huge red footprints heading north to Kanazuki Waterfall. I see it. The lingering chakra of the thing I sensed. It’s headed straight toward Kanazuki Waterfall. I explained. You have an amazing power. Now let’s find our target. Asura said. I ran ahead as Asura followed me. We arrived at Kanazuki Spring but saw nothing. Where did it go? Do you know Geri? Asura asked. I saw that the trail led to the waterfall  but also another trail that led to the lake created by the waterfall. My eyes returned to normal. There is something behind the waterfall. I said. But how can you get through it without being shoved into the water? Asura asked. Leave that to my Zanpakuto. I said as I took out my sword. Zanrai Hyo!! I shouted as I unleashed a huge fireball from Zanrakudrazulmaru. The fireball busted a hole through the waterfall showing a cave as the waterfall fell down on the sides of the cave. Good job. Asura said. Stay here while I go check it out. I said. I jumped into the cave & entered it. The cave was like a tunnel leading me deep into the cliff. I arrived at the end to see 3 small pedestal at the end in a triangle formation. On the top of the one on the right was a weird medal with the image of a tidal wave on it, the one on the left had a strange hexagon shaped golden machine that was the length of a baseball on it & the last one had a strange fossil of a creature I never saw before. The fossil looked like some sort of dragon with fire like ruins on its body. What are these? They are nothing I ever saw before. I said. I sensed the strange chakra from the fossil, medallion & the golden hexagon machine. I touched the medallion. I felt the power of water surge through my body. (Whoa.) I thought as I put in the bag. I grabbed the fossil. The moment I did an unknown memory went through my head. It was a memory of a white man with golden hair & red eyes wearing golden armor, a red cape & a belt with a scabbard hooked to it. The man was holding Zanrakudrazulmaru but also the fossil. My old friend, I afraid I running out of time. Before I die, I’ll put you here along with my prizmod & lead a trail of chakra so that my reincarnation shall find you. For my last request, my last wish is for you to protect my reincarnation but also become his or her partner but also a great friend. Goodbye, my Drakor Spectrobe but also my best friend. The man said. The memory ended with him placing the golden hexagon & fossil on the pedestals along with the medallion. I looked at the fossil. Was that your memory? I asked. I placed the fossil & prizmod in my bag. I felt an unknown power coming from outside. !!! I got a bad feeling about this! I better get back to Asura! I shouted. I quickly ran outside & stopped next to Asura. We got company! Asura shouted. A giant 40 ft blue monster eel that had red eyes, sharp fangs, blades going down it’s back & horns emerged from the lake. There is the owner of that chakra! I shouted. It’s mantra is very powerful that this form can’t handle it but I know what can. Asura said. ? I thought. HAAAAA!!!! Asura shouted as he began to radiate red energy as 6 red spots of energy appeared on his back. Ha! Asura shouted as 6 golden thin armor arms grow out of the red spots of energy on his back. ! I thought. HAAA! Asura shouted as the arms became the size & shape of his original arms. The red energy vanished as his transformation was complete. I am 6 Armed Vajra Asura! Asura shouted. I’ll show this monster my Bankai!! I shouted as I took out my Zanrakudrazulmaru. Bankai!!! I shouted as me & my sword was enveloped in a huge sphere of golden flames. What in the?! Asura shouted. The ponytail in my hair vanished as my hair flowed through the wind, my clothes & armor transformed into golden dragon armor equipped with metal talons & golden dragon wings & my sword transformed into a golden snake like dragon with red hilt end tail, gold wings, red horns & red eyes. The flames vanished as my transformation was complete. Tensa Tengen Zanrakudrazulmaru!! I shouted as my sword roared. (Her power just skyrocketed!) Asura thought. Let’s show this monster our true power Asura! I shouted. Don’t fall behind me! Asura shouted. The monster eel began to fire spears of water energy from its mouth at us. Tensho Sai!! I shouted as Zanrakudrazulmaru fired a gigantic golden lightning bolt from it’s mouth. Tenken’s Fury!! Asura shouted as he unleashed a barrage of energy punches from his fists. Asura & the monster’s attack canceled each other out leaving an opening for my attack to blast the eel with 1,000 volts of electricity doing major damage to it. The eel recovered from the attack let out a huge discharge of electricity &lightning bolts from its body at us. Tengen Zanrakuma!! I shouted as Zanrakudrazulmaru created a giant golden flame energy shield from its wings. The shield blocked the discharge before it could do any damage. Fists of Rage!!! Asura shouted as all his arms were enveloped in red energy as he jumped toward the eel monster. He delivered 6 heavy punches to the monster’s face before the energy enveloping his arms vanished & he jumped back quickly. The eel began to grow furious as it unleashed a barrage of water spears & lightning bolts from its body at us. Golden Fire Dragon’s Roar!! I roared firing a huge golden fiery breath from my mouth. Zanraku Getsuga Jaka!!! I shouted as Zanrakudrazulmaru fired a huge golden fiery breath like roar from its mouth. Rage Blast!!! Asura shouted as he fired a gigantic red energy beam from his hands. Our attacks busted through the eel’s lightning & spears but also the eel’s face doing an extreme amount of damage to it but also putting it in a temporary daze. Now is our chance to end it! Getsuga Ryu Zanrakudrazulmaru!! I shouted as my dragon sword became a giant 6 ft long & 7 ft wide fang like blade enveloped in golden flames. Here I go!! I shouted as golden flames enveloped me & blade. I going to kill you!! Asura shouted as red energy enveloped his body. Fists of Fury!!! Asura roared as he unleashed a barrage of punches at the eel monster. Tensa Getsuga Zanrakudrazulmaru!!! I shouted as I ran toward the eel at supersonic speed after Asura finished his attack. I sliced the eel in two with one slash as it burned to ashes from the flames of my sword. I landed next to Asura as the energy & flames disappeared & the both of us returned to normal. Mission Accomplished! I shouted. It looks like your daughter isn’t here. I said. I guess you are right. Asura said. I’m sure you will find her one day. I said. It’s time for me to go. I’m sure we will meet again Geri. Asura said. Me too but take this before you go. I said as I took out a red pendant. What is this? Asura asked. This is a Spirit Pendant. When a person gives someone a Spirit Pendant they will always reunite with them. I explained. Thank you. Asura said as he took the pendant. Asura jumped high into the air over 50 ft above the trees & vanished. There you are Geri! Someone shouted. My brothers & sister arrived to Kanazuki Waterfall. Angel, SoulFlare & Leon! What took you so long?! You missed me & a friend defeating a giant monster eel! I shouted. Really! Tell us everything that happened on the way back home. SoulFlare explained. Sure. It all started… I said as we headed back home & I told them about Asura. However I was still being watched from the figure at the canyons & a bigger secret was going to be revealed.
